The competitive programs use the Levels 1-10 standard, are designed by the USAG
(USA Gymnastic) and are used by all affiliated clubs nationally and
internationally for Levels stream activity. They allow participants to progress
through the sport in a graded manner and to compete with other clubs and
gymnasts who are working at the same Level.

The Levels Program is part of the USA Gymnastic competitive plan. Students
qualify to participate in this program through advancement from Beginners or by
invitation. This is a 10 level system and involves learning specific routines at
each level and performing these routines in competition. In the higher Levels gymnasts
get the opportunity to express their individuality by presenting routines that they
have designed with their coaches. Competitions are external to the Club and are
held on a Regional and State basis and for Levels 7-10 National and International. |
 |
The competitions serve 2 purposes, a) as a grading to evaluate readiness to move
to the next level, b) to provide competitive experience where students representing
our Club compete against members of other gymnastic clubs.
Training times increase as students progress through the system.
Levels 1 – 3 students must attend 2 x 2.5 hrs per week. A third session is optional. |
